It is nothing short of a recipe for success when the whole Caboodle delivers in a Nutshell!
That is what happened when Caboodle Media, successfully helped to launch the new Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MNVO), Nutshell Mobile.
Headed up by Gordon Webber and Peter Trott, who have first-hand experience of the launch of Orange and 3, Nutshell focuses on a number of previously untargeted sectors in the communications market. Caboodle Media was commissioned in June 2010 to produce the complete brand identity, website and logistical literature such as billing, handset guides and handset sim-cards. The whole project from briefing to launch was delivered in just under two months.
Offering better value than customers can get on Pay As You Go handsets, the Nutshell Mobile brand needed to be straightforward and inclusive. Handsets were tested for ease of use by designers, allowing the often over-complicated handset guides to be redesigned with self-explanatory illustrations and copy.
The website work was of particular significance to Nutshell as the remit was to build a site from a customer point of view in order to establish the brand in the marketplace. Initially the company was looking for a relatively low key presence which they would build up over time. But the concept proved so successful, that Nutshell recognised that they needed bring forward their plans to establish an on-line shop which is now their main sales engine.
Says Gordon Webber, Nutshell Mobile, CEO, “We have been extremely impressed by the level of commitment and professionalism shown by the Caboodle team in helping us get across the line. Their creative and design work is truly excellent and throughout the project they have been responsive, forward thinking and collaborative.
“We will continue to work with them to develop our brand and service, and in particular the implementation of a marketing plan to attract anyone who is interested in setting up as a mobile service provider (MVNO), using their own brand and sales capability.”
